I don't think this would interfere with Dropbox, Github, Bitbucket, Anaconda (or any other virtualenv like Enthought) etc., as long as you as have a _init__.py' file in each directory where you have your files.

I had to add the folder inside that that contains the files i needed. -----Original Message----- From: Aaron "Castironpi" Brady [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2008 PM To: [email protected]: Re: How do I add permanently to Pythons sys.path?

Both doing import and loading form fiel with C-c C-l However jsut including C:/Python/Progs wasn't enough. You have: c:/python/progs/abc/c:/python/progs/abc/c:/python/progs/def/c:/python/progs/def/__init__in progs (empty...) __init__in abc __init__in def c:/python/site-packages/lib/which contains: c:/python/progs/ You don't need the subdirectories.

python, mysql My SQL is actually throwing a warning rather that an error.

You can suppress mysql warnings like this : import My SQLdb as mdb from warnings import filterwarnings filterwarnings('ignore', category = mdb. But mysql errors will be shown as usual Read more about warnings at...

I've tried adapting the code from the previous page by appending the following lines to my ~/.bash_profile: Does anyone have any solutions?

Some questions/possibilities I'm thinking of - 1) Does it have anything to do with my Anaconda configuration?

(Anaconda runs in a virtual env) 2) Does it has anything to do with the folder with python code being installed in Dropbox?
