I was lonely, devastated, disappointed, heartbroken, and disillusioned beyond imagination.

Intelligence is fantastic and sexy for sure, but student loans and perpetual students who don't want to grow up and live in the real world are not.

It was not that I was too picky, it was that it was actually impossible to meet someone decent in my circle. But being a nerd in graduate school, does not help either.
